Role: SRE (Site Reliability Engineer)

Experience: 1 to 3 years

Roles and Responsibility:

1.Manage and configure Google Cloud Platform (GCP) resources such as Cloud IAM, Cloud Storage, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Run, Load Balancer, Cloud Build, VPC components, and peering for private projects, networking, NATting, Security Command Center, Logging, Monitoring, and enforcing Google-recommended policies across projects.

2.Set up and configure resources on Linode.

3.Manage Cloudfiare DNS and user management.

4.Implement and manage secure access (Layer 7) using Cloudflare’s Zero Trust Network for

internal applications.

5.Develop and deploy serverless functions using Cloudflare Workers, KV, and Queues.

6.Manage and deploy static sites using Cloudflare Pages.

7.Monitor and analyze traffic and security data using Cloudflare Analytics.

8.Analyze, evaluate, install, configure, cluster, and maintain databases, including MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, PlanetScale, SingleStore, and AstraDB.

9.Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and resource management.

10.Implement robust backup and recovery procedures for databases.

11.Manage caching solutions using KeyDB to enhance application performance.

12.Set up and maintain messaging systems such as Pub/Sub and NATS for real-time

communication.

13.Use Infrastructure as Code (laC) tools like Terraform and Ansible for automated provisioning and management.

14.Implement Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate application deployment processes.

15.Monitor the performance and health of applications and infrastructure using tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

16.Respond to and resolve incidents promptly to minimize downtime.

17.Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of services.

18.Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and best practices.

19.Ensure systems comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.

20.Monitor and manage costs associated with cloud services, identifying opportunities for expense optimization.

21.Troubleshoot and configure data warehousing components, and set up individual laptops to access data via Power BI or Excel.

22.Administer web servers (Caddy and Apache) and perform Linux administration and patching and upgrading software to address critical issues and vulnerabilities.

23.Administer Git, GitLab in a Git Ops environment.
