Job Description
- Analyze information stated on cattle insurance proposals.
- Determine the risk involved in insuring the cattle proposed for insurance
- Screen the cattle insurance proposals based on set criteria.
- Use automated software to determine the risk of insuring cattle.
- Review recommendations from underwriting software
- Prepare quotes for retail and corporate business clients on day-to-day basis.
- Approving the cattle proposals on standard risk basis and calling for additional information if any required for compliance
- Generating reports and analyze the underwriting decisions.
- Co-ordination with cattle claims team for providing any discrete information for making decisions in claim settlement.
- Analytical thinking skills. the ability to work well with others. excellent verbal communication skills
- Underwriting requires a series of specialized skills, including analytical, computer, communication, and math skills.
- New hires get on-the-job training from senior underwriters and must complete key certification programs to advance in their careers.
